Serafini Productions has announced BrokenLore: DARK DAWN, the next entry in the BrokenLore saga. The game will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. A release date has not been confirmed yet.
BrokenLore: DARK DAWN is a first-person psychological horror game. It mixes real-world horrors like abduction, human trafficking, and organ harvesting with psychological terror and hallucinations. Players step into the role of a kidnapping victim who must survive not only dangerous captors but also the fragile state of their own mind.
The game promises several key features. Players will face constant pressure from a ticking clock where resting too long or acting too soon can lead to death. Survival depends on scavenging and crafting tools, making every resource count. The game also explores hallucinations triggered by sedatives, shifting players between strange, nightmarish worlds such as toy stores filled with stuffed animals or savannahs with predators.
Mental health plays a central role in the gameplay. If neglected, despair will take over, giving rise to terrifying entities that hunt the player. According to Serafini Productions, there will be no safe places and every decision will have serious consequences.
