Black Myth: Zhong Kui Announced for PC and Consoles

Black Myth: Zhong Kui

Game Science has announced Black Myth: Zhong Kui, the next single-player action RPG in the Black Myth series. The game will release on PC and “mainstream console platforms,” though specific platforms and a release date have not been confirmed.

The announcement comes as part of the studio’s tradition of updating fans every August 20. Since the project is still in early development, the team shared a CG short to mark the new title rather than gameplay footage.

Unlike the first game, Black Myth: Wukong, players will not take on the role of the Monkey King. Instead, the game draws on ancient Chinese myths and folklore to explore new characters, stories, and gameplay features. The developers promise fresh experiences while keeping the spirit of the original game intact.

Details about the story and gameplay are still under wraps. The studio encourages fans to follow the official Black Myth accounts on YouTube, X, Facebook, and other platforms for updates.
