Warner Bros. Games and TT Games have announced LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game is set to launch in 2026.

The new game takes players on Bruce Wayne’s journey to becoming Gotham City’s legendary hero. It blends decades of Batman films, comics, TV shows, and games with TT Games’ signature LEGO humor. Players will meet familiar allies like Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, Jim Gordon, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul, and face villains including The Joker, Bane, Ra’s al Ghul, Poison Ivy, and The Penguin.

The game features a new LEGO Batman combat system with fluid attack chains, counters, and over-the-top takedowns. Players can use Batman’s iconic gadgets like Batarangs and the Batclaw, while partner characters bring unique gear for creative strategies. Local co-op lets players team up for extra fun, and two difficulty settings—Caped Crusader and Dark Knight—offer a tougher challenge for experienced players.

Set in an open-world LEGO Gotham City, players can grapple, glide, or drive through the city, using Batmobiles, Batcycles, and the Batglider. The Batcave is fully customizable, allowing players to showcase vehicles, collectibles, and wearable Batsuits inspired by Batman’s history.
