Aniplex, JOYCITY, and Capcom have teamed up to bring a new Resident Evil game to mobile. The game is called Resident Evil: Survival Unit and will be available on both iOS and Android.
Unlike traditional Resident Evil games, this one is a real-time strategy game. It reimagines the survival horror universe in a new way, made especially for mobile players. According to the official press release, the game is designed to attract both old fans of the franchise and new players who are trying it for the first time.

Resident Evil: Survival Unit will be launched in several regions including North America, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and Asia.
A special online showcase event will be held on July 10 at 3:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM ET. You can watch it on YouTube in both English and Japanese.
