PlayStation has announced the Monthly Games lineup for August. Starting August 5, PlayStation Plus members can download Lies of P, DayZ, and My Hero One’s Justice 2 at no extra cost. This month’s selection brings a mix of horror, survival, and anime action to your console. Whether you love Soulslike challenges, hardcore survival, or intense anime-style battles, there is something for you.
Lies of P – PS5, PS4
Lies of P is a dark Soulslike game set in the creepy city of Krat. The city has fallen into chaos, and Pinocchio must fight mechanical enemies using brutal weapons and special Legion Arms. You will meet different characters on your journey, and yes, lying is sometimes necessary if you want to become human.
DayZ – PS4
If you are into survival games, DayZ will keep you on edge. You are dropped into a post-apocalyptic world full of infected enemies and other desperate survivors. With no checkpoints and no second chances, survival depends on your instincts. Explore massive maps like Chernarus and Livonia, scavenge for supplies, and try to stay alive as long as you can.
My Hero One’s Justice 2 – PS4
This one is for anime lovers. Based on the hit series My Hero Academia, this arena fighter lets you pick your favorite heroes and villains and battle it out in massive 3D arenas. Use powerful “Quirks” and unleash special moves in fast-paced, action-packed fights.
PlayStation Plus is also celebrating its 15th anniversary with a special gift. Starting August 5, members can claim a free set of exclusive avatars. These include fan-favorite titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarök, and Twisted Metal.
If you have not claimed the July games yet, Diablo IV, The King of Fighters XV, and Jusant, do it before August 4. After that, they will no longer be free.
