Electronic Arts has officially announced EA Sports FC 26, the next big football game in its popular series. The game is set to release on September 26, 2025, and will be available on almost every major platform, including PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), and even Amazon Luna. Those who buy the Ultimate Edition will get early access starting September 19.
This time, Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala are featured on the standard edition cover, while the legendary Zlatan Ibrahimović is the face of the Ultimate Edition.
EA says FC 26 brings major improvements in gameplay, graphics, and career mode. The new features are built using player feedback and focus on realism, better controls, and a more immersive experience.
EA says that the gameplay has been improved with better dribbling control, smarter goalkeeper positioning using reinforcement learning, more realistic player movements, and new animations that make everything look smoother and more lifelike. EA has also introduced new Playstyles and Player Roles to add more variety.
Players can now choose between two presets. Authentic Gameplay is made for career mode and focuses on real-world football experience. On the other hand, Competitive Gameplay is tuned for Ultimate Team and Clubs.
The Manager Career has received a big update with Manager Live Challenges. These are inspired by real-world scenarios like mid-season challenges or alternate league storylines. It makes the game feel dynamic.
The new Archetypes system is inspired by legendary footballers. It lets players develop unique abilities. You can build your custom player by upgrading key attributes and unlocking special perks.
Fans of FUT (Football Ultimate Team) will get new Live Events, Tournament modes, and an improved Rivals and Champs experience. This keeps the gameplay fresh and exciting every week.
EA Sports FC 26 will include 20,000+ real players, over 750 teams, 120 stadiums, and 35+ leagues. These things make it one of the most realistic football games yet. It includes content from the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and more.
