Cyberpunk 2077 is finally coming to Mac. CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the Ultimate Edition will be available on July 17. You will be able to buy it from the Mac App Store, Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store.

This version includes the base game along with the Phantom Liberty expansion released in 2023. The Mac port was announced last year and was expected earlier this year, but it took a little longer to get things ready.

It is important to note that the game only supports Mac with Apple Silicon Mac, starting from the M1 chip and up. However, your Mac must have at least 16GB of RAM. If you are using a Mac with 8GB RAM, the game will not run. The graphics quality will also vary depending on which M-series chip your Mac has. To make things easier, the game comes with a “for this Mac” graphics preset that automatically selects the best settings.

The game supports AMD FSR and Apple’s MetalFX technologies for better graphics and frame rates. Apple also announced new Metal 4 features at WWDC 2025, such as Metal FX Frame Interpolation and Denoising. These features will be added to the game in a future update and could help the game run at up to 120fps on Ultra settings, depending on the Mac model.

If you use AirPods, the game also supports spatial audio with head tracking. Another useful feature is cross-progression, which means you can continue your saved game from other platforms on your Mac. If you already own the game on Steam or another store, you will automatically get access to the Mac version.

Even though Cyberpunk 2077 is not a new title, it is still one of the popular games. After its rough launch, CD Projekt Red fixed most of the bugs and made it a solid experience. The Mac version joins other major titles like Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Death Stranding, Control, and Resident Evil Village—
