Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Redmi Pad 2 will launch in India on June 18, 2025. The tablet could be priced under ₹20,000 to make it an attractive option in the budget segment.
The tablet will be offered in both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular variants. It will also support stylus input.
The Redmi Pad 2 is already available in global markets, so most of its specifications are known. It features an 11-inch 2.5K display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is TÜV Rheinland certified, which means it emits less blue light and is comfortable for long reading or viewing sessions.
It packs a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra processor and comes in variants: 4+128GB and 8+256 GB. The tablet also has quad stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a 9000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
Redmi Pad 2 runs Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS skin. It also features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for basic photography and video calls.
