Nothing Phone (3) Will Launch on July 1 with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4

Nothing Phone (3) Launch Date

Nothing has confirmed that its next smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3), will launch on July 1st. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, the company’s most powerful chipset yet. This makes Phone (3) the company’s first proper flagship.

Carl Pei, the CEO of Nothing, announced the news on YouTube. He shared details about the phone, answered community questions, and even teased the upcoming Nothing Headphone (1).

Carl Pei claims that Phone (3) will offer big improvements across the board. According to him, the CPU will be 36% faster, the GPU will be 88% stronger, and the NPU will be 60% stronger. He said the phone will feel much faster in day-to-day use. The goal is to offer a smooth and balanced experience for people who use their phones for hours every day.

Nothing has also confirmed that the Phone (3) will not come with Glyph lights. Instead, it will use a dot matrix pattern on the back. The company has already shared some teasers showing this new design. Like previous models, this one will also be made in India to meet local demand.

Carl also spoke about the over-ear headphone market and said it has become “boring,” with most brands copying Sony’s designs. That is why Nothing is launching Headphone (1) alongside the Phone (3), with a fresh design and new ideas.

He also touched on Essential Space, a new feature that debuted with the Phone (3a). He said it has been well-received and will be improved further in the new phone.

Based on leaks and reports, the Nothing Phone (3) will be available in two variants:

  • 12GB + 256GB at $799 (around ₹68,320)
  • 16GB + 512GB at $899 (around ₹76,865)

That is a $100 price bump compared to the Phone (2) versions.

The Phone (3) will be officially unveiled at an event in London on July 1st at 6PM BST (10:30PM IST). As always, Nothing will live stream the event on YouTube.
