Motorola has launched the Edge 60, the latest phone in the Edge 60 series. The phone brings some impressive features at a competitive price
The Motorola Edge 60 comes with a 6.67-inch quad-curved pOLED display. It has a resolution of 1.5K and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen gets very bright, with up to 4500 nits peak brightness, and also supports HDR10+. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for making it durable against scratches and drops.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 4nm chipset with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It has 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Storage is further expandable up to 1TB with microSD.
It runs Android 15 out of the box, and Motorola promises 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates. The Edge 60 also includes Moto AI features like Catch Me Up for quick summaries, Pay Attention for real-time transcription, and Remember This for personalized memory recall.
The camera setup on the back includes a 50MP main camera with Sony’s LYTIA 700C sensor and OIS, 50MP ultra-wide camera that also supports macro shots, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and up to 50x hybrid zoom. The phone can record up to 4K 30fps videos from the rear camera. On the front, there is a 50MP selfie camera that can record up to 4K videos.
Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C. The Edge 60 packs a 5500mAh battery and supports 68W TurboPower fast charging. A charger is included in the box, which is great to see.
This phone is not just about looks and performance. It comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. It also meets the MIL-STD-810H military standard, which means it can survive tough environments like high temperatures, humidity, altitude, and drops from up to 1.5 meters. Motorola is offering two stylish color options: Pantone Gibraltar Sea and Pantone Shamrock. Dimensions measure 161.2 x 73.08 x 8.25mm, and it weighs 181g.
Price and Availability
The phone is priced at ₹25,999 and will be available from June 17th via Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and offline stores. Buyers can also get ₹1000 off if they use Axis Bank or IDFC Bank credit cards.
