TECNO has launched its new POVA Curve 5G smartphone in India. This is the first phone in TECNO’s new “Curve” series and brings powerful features at an affordable price.
The TECNO POVA Curve 5G comes with a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display. It offers Full HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 1300 nits brightness. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
This phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. The phone comes with 6GB or 8GB RAM. It also has 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It supports up to 8GB RAM and an extra 8GB of virtual RAM for better performance.
It runs HiOS 15 based on Android 15, and TECNO has promised an Android 16 update and two years of security updates. One of the highlights of the POVA Curve 5G is its AI features. It comes with TECNO’s Ella AI, which includes features like AI Call Assistant, AI Auto Answer, AI Voiceprint Noise Suppression, and support for multiple languages.
The phone has a dual rear camera setup with a 64MP main sensor (Sony IMX682) and a 2MP portrait camera. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie camera. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.
For connectivity, the phone offers 5G++, VoWiFi Dual Pass, Intelligent Signal Hub System, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR sensor, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
The POVA Curve 5G packs a large 5500mAh battery. It supports 45W fast charging and can be fully charged in 45 minutes. The charger is included in the box. It also supports bypass charging to reduce heat while gaming.
TECNO POVA Curve 5G measures 164.3×74.6×7.45mm and weighs 188.5g. The phone comes in three colours – Magic Silver, Neon Cyan, and Geek Black. It also has IP64 dust and splash resistant.

It will be available on Flipkart starting June 5th. The 8GB model will also be sold through offline stores.
