Paytm Adds ‘Hide Payment’ Feature to Let Users Keep Transactions Private

Paytm Hide Payment

Paytm has added a new feature called ‘Hide Payment’ that gives users more privacy and control over their payment history. With this new option, Paytm users can now hide or unhide specific transactions from their payment list with a simple swipe. It is a small but smart update that makes mobile payments more private and easier to manage.

The update was introduced based on feedback from users who wanted more privacy when managing their payments. Whether it is buying a surprise gift, ordering food late at night, visiting a pharmacy, or making a personal purchase, users can now choose to keep such payments out of sight without deleting them.

Hiding a payment is simple. Just go to the Paytm app’s “Balance & History” section, swipe left on the transaction you want to hide, tap “Hide,” and confirm. The transaction will no longer appear in your visible payment list.

To unhide a payment, tap the three-dot menu in the “Balance & History” section, select “View Hidden Payments,” and verify using your phone’s PIN or biometrics. Then swipe left and tap “Unhide” on the transaction. It will be restored to the payment history.

Paytm understands that some payments are personal or sensitive, and not everyone wants every transaction to be visible at all times. The feature gives users an option to manage their transaction records the way they want.

Paytm has also added other useful features recently. These include a QR Widget for quick payments, UPI Lite for small transactions, the option to link RuPay credit cards to UPI, and even international UPI payments in countries like the UAE, Singapore, France, and more. All these features are aimed at making payments easier and smarter for everyone.
