Motorola has launched its new smartphone, the Motorola Edge 2025, in the US. This phone is the latest addition to the Edge series and comes with several upgrades over last year’s model.

Motorola Edge 2025 features a large 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports HDR10+, has up to 4500 nits peak brightness, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. This makes it a great phone for watching content and gaming.

The Motorola Edge 2025 is also the first phone powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. You can also expand the storage using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 15 out of the box.

One of the highlights of the phone is its camera setup. It has a 50MP main camera with a Sony sensor and OIS (optical image stabilization), a 50MP ultra-wide camera with macro support, and a 50MP front camera with Quad Pixel tech for better selfies. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording at 30fps.

The phone is also built to last. It has MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification and comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It can survive being submerged in fresh water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

For audio, the phone has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a USB Type-C audio output. It also comes with features like an in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C.

The phone comes with a large 5200mAh battery. It also supports 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging, so you can expect long usage and quick top-ups.

Price and availability

The Motorola Edge 2025 is priced at $549.99 (around ₹46,995). It comes in a premium Pantone Deep Forest color. The phone will be available unlocked in the US from June 5 via Best Buy, Amazon, and Motorola’s website. It will also arrive later on carriers like T-Mobile, Metro, Visible, Spectrum, and Xfinity Mobile.

In Canada, it will be available on the same date on motorola.ca, with carrier and retail availability to follow soon.
