Alcatel is back in India with a new budget smartphone lineup: the Alcatel V3 series. The company has launched three models: V3 Classic, V3 Pro, and V3 Ultra. Among these, the V3 Ultra stands out as the first phone in its segment to offer stylus support and comes with India’s first NXTPAPER 4-in-1 display.
The phones are packed with modern features, big batteries, and run on the latest Android 15 out of the box.
Alcatel V3 Classic 5G is the most affordable model in the series. It features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on the same Dimensity 6300 chip and comes with either 4GB or 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, expandable via microSD.
It has a 50MP main camera and a 0.08MP macro sensor at the back. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera. The phone runs Android 15 and will get 3 OS updates and 4 years of security support.
The Classic also includes dual stereo speakers, IP54 rating, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone is powered by a 5,200mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging
Alcatel V3 Pro 5G is the mid-range model in the series. It has a 6.7-inch HD+ NXTPAPER display with a 120Hz refresh rate and anti-glare protection. Like the Ultra, it also comes with the INK Paper Mode and Max Ink Mode for better reading. It runs on Android 15 out of the box. The smartphone is also powered by the Dimensity 6300 processor and comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, expandable up to 2TB.
On the back, you get a 50MP main camera and a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, while the front has an 8MP camera.
It also includes dual stereo speakers, a side fingerprint sensor, NFC, and IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. The phone packs a 5,200mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
Alcatel V3 Ultra is the most advanced phone in the lineup. It has a 6.8-inch FHD+ NXTPAPER display with 120Hz refresh rate and anti-glare coating. The screen supports INK Paper Mode, which gives a paper-like reading experience and helps reduce eye strain.
This is also the first phone in its price range in India to come with a built-in stylus. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and comes with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB storage (expandable up to 2TB). It runs on Android 14 and will soon get the Android 15 update, with 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
It features a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro camera, and a 32MP front camera. For video lovers, it offers horizon lock for stable video recording.
Other features include dual speakers, stereo sound, IP54 dust and splash resistance, NFC, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone packs a 5,010mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The NXTPAPER 4-in-1 display is a unique feature of the V3 Ultra and V3 Pro. It supports four modes:
- Gently Dimmed Mode – Lowers brightness for dark environments.
- Ink Paper Mode – Best for reading, with minimal eye strain. Alcatel claims up to 7 days of reading on a single charge.
- Adaptive Sunlight Mode – Boosts brightness outdoors for better visibility.
- Night-Friendly Mode – Reduces blue light for comfortable night use.
