BenQ has launched its new GV50 Smart FHD Laser projector in India. This portable projector is designed to deliver big-screen entertainment with flexible projection angles and a range of smart features. With support for Google TV, built-in Netflix, and powerful 2.1 channel speakers, the GV50 is ideal for home movie nights, casual gaming, and even portable outdoor use.

The GV50 runs on Google TV OS. It allows users to stream content directly from popular apps like Netflix, YouTube, and more. It also has an easy-to-use interface and joystick control. You can also use your smartphone as a remote via the BenQ SmartRemote app. The projector offers up to 135-degree vertical projection. It allows you to place it on a table or floor and still get the perfect angle.

It supports up to a 120-inch screen size in Full HD (1080p) resolution. The device also features CinematicColor and CinematicSound technologies with Rec. 709 color accuracy and support for HDR10 and HLG. It delivers vibrant images with a 16:9 aspect ratio and brightness of 500 ANSI lumens.

For sound, the projector includes 18W 2.1 channel speakers with Dolby Audio. This setup provides rich audio for movies and music, even without external speakers.

With a 22.4ms input lag, the GV50 also caters to casual gamers. It supports various input options, including USB-C for data transfer and power delivery. It is also compatible with mobile phones and even the Nintendo Switch.

It also has several notable features like auto focus, auto 2D keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, digital Zoom, digital horizontal/vertical lens shift, two-stage tilt projection, and Omnidirectional angle support.

The projector packs a built-in battery that can run for 150 minutes of video playback or 280 minutes in Bluetooth speaker mode.

The BenQ GV50 comes with a special launch price of ₹69,990. Customers can pre-order the projector until April 22 on Amazon and the BenQ e-store. It will go on open sale starting the same day. BenQ is also offering a 2-year carry-in warranty with the projector.
