ASUS has quietly launched the ROG Phone 9 FE in Thailand. The phone retains its core gaming DNA and has an older Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which makes it affordable.
ROG Phone 9 FE features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ Samsung E6 AMOLED display with support for 10-bit HDR and up to 2500 nits brightness. The display also has a 1-120Hz refresh rate that can reach 185Hz for gaming. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The phone packs Octa Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 4nm SoC with Adreno 750 GPU and 16GB RAM. It also has 256GB (UFS 4.0) storage. The phone runs Android 15 with ROG UI.
The rear camera setup includes 50 megapixels primary camera with 6-axis Gimbal stabilization, 13 megapixels ultra-wide camera, and 5 megapixels macro camera. It also has 32 megapixels selfie camera.
ROG Phone 9 FE has a dual speakers setup with a 5-magnet stereo speaker. It also has 3.5mm audio jack for connecting wired headphones. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11 be, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
It packs a 5500mAh battery with 65W Hyper charge fast charging, Quick Charge 5.0, PD Charging, and 15W Qi wireless charging.
The phone measures 163.8×76.8×8.9mm and weighs 225g. It also has IP68 dust and water-resistant.
ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE costs 29,990 Thai Bhat (USD 890) and is already up for sale in Thailand.
