OnePlus Confirms No Foldable Phone Launch in 2025

OnePlus launched OnePlus Open back in 2023 and the phone received good reviews from reviewers and users. However, fans eagerly awaiting its successor will be disappointed. OnePlus has officially confirmed that it will not be releasing a new foldable phone this year.

OnePlus also released an official statement confirming why it decided not to launch a foldable this year.

“At OnePlus, our core strength and passion lie in setting new benchmarks and challenging the status quo across all product categories. With that in mind, we’ve carefully considered the timing and our next steps in foldable devices, and we have made the decision not to release a foldable this year,” said the company.

We already know that OnePlus and Oppo work closely. OnePlus usually rebrands Oppo Phones. This has fueled speculation that OnePlus might have introduced its own version of the upcoming Oppo Find N5 as the OnePlus Open 2.
