Xiaomi has launched its latest tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 7, in India. The tablet features an 11.2-inch 3.2K 144Hz LCD screen, a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, and a host of innovative features aimed at productivity and entertainment. It promises to deliver a high-end experience at an affordable price.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 boasts an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD screen with a Nano Texture Display option, offering anti-glare and anti-reflective features. The display boasts to reduce interference light by 99% and reflectivity by 65% to ensure clarity even under strong light. It also has a variable refresh rate ranging from 30Hz to 144Hz. The display panel also supports HDR10, Dolby Vision, and hardware-level blue light reduction.
The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC and Adreno 732 GPU to ensure smooth multitasking and gaming experiences. It also offers 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS storage options. The device runs Android 15 with Xiaomi HyperOS 2. It also has AI-driven features such as AI Writing, AI Live Subtitles, and Xiaomi Creation tools for enhanced productivity and creative tasks.
It also has 13 megapixels rear camera with 1/3.06″ sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and PDAF. For selfies, the tablet has 8 megapixels front camera with OV08D 1/4″ sensor with f/2.28 aperture.
For a good multimedia experience, it has 4 speakers and supports Dolby Atmos. Connectivity options are Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C. The tablet packs an 8850mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
Xiaomi Pad 7 measures 251.22×173.42×6.18mm and weighs 499g. It also has an IP52 rating for Dust and water resistance.
The tablet comes with a new floating keyboard with support 0°-124° stepless adjustment. It offers effortless opening and closing. The keyboard also has a 64-key adaptive backlight and mechanical press touchpad. The keycaps and back panel are resistant to dirt.
The Xiaomi Focus pen has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity and a multi-function spotlight button. It boasts 0g activation force and ultra low latency.

The tablet will be available from January 13th on Amazon.in, mi.com, and Xiaomi retail stores, with the Nano Texture edition and keyboard set for release in February 2025.
