Asus has confirmed that its next flagship phone Zenfone 12 Ultra will be launched on February 6, 2025. The company confirmed this news on X. The event is secluded for 30PM Taiwan Time (12:00PM IST), and the company should stream the event live for consumers to watch.
The X post confirms that the phone will feature 4K recording with focus tracking. This feature was typically limited to Full HD resolution on many previous Android devices. If this is true, Zenfone 12 Ultra could be a good choice for photography enthusiasts and videographers alike.
Based on earlier rumours, Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra could feature specs similar to ROG Phone 9. So, we can expect similar specs.
The phone is expected to feature 6.78-inch OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, and a 5,800mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. The rear camera could offer a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro shooter.
Following the trend, the phone should also come with a suite of AI features. We can also expect longer software updates.
