Xiaomi 15 has taken another step toward its global debut. The phone has appeared on the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certification site. The listing was spotted by 91mobiles Indonesia. Recently, it was also listed on India’s BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). These events suggest that Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone is gearing up for its global release.
The phone was spotted on the FCC site with the model number 24129PN74G. On the BIS listing, it was found with model number 24129PN74I. Look at model numbers the last character G suggests the Global variant and I for the Indian variant.
Global variant will likely come in two configurations:
- 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage
- 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage
It is important to note that the Chinese version of the Xiaomi 15 offers up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage
FCC listing also confirmed HyperOS 2.0, Xiaomi’s latest operating system. Although other specifications weren’t mentioned in the FCC listing, I don’t there should be any change. It will offer the same specs as in the Chinese variant. Xiaomi 15 was launched in China back in October.
The Xiaomi 15 comes with a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. It packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, up to 16GB RAM. Triple 50MP camera, 32MP front camera, and 5,400mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
