Capcom is set to launch Resident Evil 2 remake for iPhone, iPad, and Mac on December 10. This highly anticipated port brings the terrifying world of Raccoon City to Apple devices and allows players to experience intense horror and suspense.
The Resident Evil 2 remake was released back in 2019 for Windows, Xbox One, and PS4. Later it was also released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The game promises stunning visuals, immersive sound design, and a gripping narrative. It follows rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield as they navigate the zombie-infested streets of Raccoon City.

Resident Evil 2 remake will be available for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPhone 16 models. It also supports all iPads and Macs with at least an M1 chip inside. The mobile and Mac version of the Resident Evil 2 remake is expected to offer a seamless gaming experience. The game is optimized for touchscreens and traditional input methods.
This will be the fourth Resident Evil game for iOS devices. Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil 4 are already available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. These games also take advantage of Apple’s game mode and support wireless controllers.
It is also important to note that Resident Evil 2 Remake is already the best-selling Resident Evil game. It surpassed Resident Evil 7: Biohazard back in 2023. Now that the game is being launched on Apple devices, it should see a further boost in sales.
