India’s Foodtech giant Swiggy has today launched a new 10-minute food delivery service called Swiggy Bolt in select locations. The company will deliver a limited set of items from select restaurants in select locations under this new service.
Under Swiggy Bolt, the company will only provide dishes that require minimal preparation and the delivery radius will also be 2 kilometers. You can get burgers, friends, breakfast dishes, cold beverages, and ready-to-pack items such as ice cream, sweets, and snacks in 10 minutes using Swiggy Bolt.
For now, the service is available at select locations across Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune. However, the company plans to expand it to more areas in the coming weeks.
It is worth noting that Zomato already tested a 10-minute delivery service last year. But its pilot program couldn’t provide sufficient results and the company had to discontinue it.
