Soon After Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 8 Elite at the Snapdragon Summit 2024, Asus confirmed its upcoming ROG Phone 9 series. These new gaming phones will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite. Asus also confirmed that it would officially launch ROG Phone 9 series on November 19.
The launch event Is scheduled at 12:00 PM CET (4:30PM IST) on November 19. Asus also teased the phone series during Snapdragon Summit with a tagline ‘AI on, game on.’ It suggests that the phone will AI in the best possible ways to enhance gaming experience.
The phone is rumored to come with up to 24GB of RAM, up to 1TB of internal storage, and 65W wired charging. ROG Phone 9 is also expected to retain IP68 ratings. Asus has also shared official photos of ROG Phone 9 to confirm its design and a new AniMe version on the back with Mini-LEDs.
We can expect more details from Asus in the coming days to know more about ROG Phone 9 before the official launch. Xiaomi and OnePlus have already confirmed to launch of their flagship phones powered by the latest Qualcomm chipset.
