We already know that the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro smartphones are launching in China on October 29th in China. Ahead of the official launch, the company has revealed the design of these phones.
Xiaomi 15 Pro will come with a quad-curved screen protected with a Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0. It also has a quad-curved wrap-around middle frame and 8.35mm thickness. It weighs 213g, 10g lighter than its predecessor. The phone features a Leica Summilux lens and a 5X periscope telephoto camera.


Xiaomi 15 retains the 6.36-inch flat AMOLED display with 1.38mm ultra-narrow four-sided bezels. It has aluminum one-piece molding with a quad-curved wrapped middle frame. It also features a triple rear camera including a 2.6X telephoto camera.


Xiaomi 15 series is expected to feature three models: Xiaomi 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Ultra. We have also seen some unofficial renders of 15 Ultra that show a circular camera module.

Xiaomi 15 series will pack Snapdragon 8 Elite and Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Snapdragon 8 Elite gets an upgraded Hexagon neural processing unit, a second-generation custom-built Qualcomm Oryon CPU, and an enhanced AI image signal processing (ISP) unit.
Xiaomi 15 series is expected to come with LTPO OLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. Xiaomi 15 will feature a flat display while the Pro and Ultra models will come with Quad Micro Curved screens.
Xiaomi 15 is expected to feature up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0, and a 5,500mAh battery. The Pro model could get a 6,000mAh battery. These phones will also support 90-watt fast charging and 50-watt wireless fast charging.
We can expect more reveals about the Xiaomi 15 series ahead of the official launch next week. After the China launch, the phone is expected to launch globally in early 2025.
