OpenAI has released the ChatGPT app for Windows. The dedicated ChatGPT app makes AI more accessible to Windows users and also promises an enhanced experience.

While the web version is popular among users, people who frequently use ChatGPT can give the ChatGPT windows a try. The app brings the newest model improvements from OpenAI, including access to OpenAI o1-preview.

You can quickly press the Alt + Space shortcut to access the ChatGPT app on your Windows system. The app lets users ask it anything, start new conversations, upload files to summarize documents, and generate new images using DALL-E 3 image creator.

The app is still missing some capabilities such as advanced voice mode. I hope this feature will be added soon.

ChatGPT for Windows is still in the early version and is available for ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu users. You can download ChatGPT for Windows for the Microsoft Store. OpenAI has confirmed that The app will come to everyone later this year.
