At its Sankalp 2024 event, OLA Electric introduced its first e-motorcycle series ‘Roadster’ in India. The series includes three models: Roadster X, Roadster, and Roadster Pro. Each of these models also has multiple variants. These e-bikes will come with MoveOS 5.
Roadster Pro
Roadster Pro is the top-end model in the series. It comes in 8kWh battery pack and a 16kWh battery pack motions. The motor generates 52 kW of peak power and 105 Nm of torque. It can go from 0 to 40 kmph in just 1.2 seconds. That’s an impressive acceleration for a bike of this price segment. It features a 10-inch TFT touchscreen display, two-channel switchable ABS, upside-down forks, and disc brakes at the front and rear.
Roadster
Ola Roadster comes in 3kWh, 4.5kWh, or 6kWh battery options. It has a 6.8-inch TFT touchscreen display and runs MoveOS. The bike claims a top speed of 126 kmph and a range of 248 KM. OLA claims that the Roadster can go from 0 to 40kmph in just 2 seconds and has a peak power output of 13 kW. It has disc brakes at the front and rear. It also features single-channel ABS and brake-by-wire technology.
Roadster X
Roadster X is the most affordable model in the Roadster series. It comes in 2.5, 3.5, and 4.5 kWh variants. It is for budget-minded commuters who want a balance between performance and affordability. This e-Bike features a 4.3-inch LCD display, LED headlamps, rear twin shock absorbers, 18-inch black alloy wheels, and telescopic front forks. It has a maximum range of 200 km and a peak power output of 14.7 bhp. Roadster X has a top speed of 124 kmph and can go from 0 to 40kmph in just 2.8 seconds. It also offers three riding modes: Sports, Normal, and Eco modes.
All these models feature Hill Hold, integrated MCU, traction control, and ABS modes. OLA is also using its own 4680 cells to enhance charge time and performance. Ola Electric is also offering an 8-year battery warranty across its motorcycle lineup.
