Lava has today launched its budget smartphone Lava Yuva Star in India. The phone aims at first-time smartphone buyers who are switching from feature phones to smartphones.
Lava Yuva Star features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a U-shaped notch for the selfie camera. It packs an Octa-core UNISOC 9863A Processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The phone also supports virtual RAM expansion of up to 4GB. It runs Android 14 out of the box and promises a bloatware-free experience with no pre-installed apps.
The phone has 13 megapixel primary camera and a 2 megapixels depth camera. It also has 5 megapixels front camera for selfies. The camera app has several shooting modes such as AI, HDR, and Panorama.
The fingerprint sensor is on the side button and the phone also supports face unlock. Lava Yuva Star has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C connectivity. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
Lava Yuva Star is priced at Rs. 6499 and is now available through retail stores across the country.
