Redmi today launched its budget tablet Redmi Pad SE 4G in India. Redmi Pad SE 4G comes with good specs and promises a balance of features and performance.
Redmi Pad SE 4G features an 8.7-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel has up to 600 nits peak brightness and supports 2048 levels of brightness adjustment. It also has TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission and TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Certification. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to protect the display from scratches.
The tablet runs Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box.
The tablet packs an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor and Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and is offered with 64GB or 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage options. Storage is also expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.
Redmi Pad SE 4G has 8 8-megapixel rear camera and 5 5-megapixel selfie camera.
There is a stereo speakers system and support for Dolby Atmos for good audio. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It also has 4G voLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C connectivity. The tablet packs a 6650mAh battery with 10W charging.
The tablet measures 211.58 x 125.48 x 8.8mm and weighs 370g. It is also IP53 dust and splash-resistant. Redmi Pad SE 4G comes in Forest Green, Ocean Blue, and Urban Grey colors.
Redmi Pad SE 4G has a good display with a smooth refresh rate. It also has a capable processor to handle most day-to-day tasks. Although there’s no flagship camera, it is good for video calls and casual photography. The tablet also ensures a good battery life.
