Apple has finally released the web version of its Apple Maps. Currently, it is in beta and only available in English. Apple released Apple Maps with iOS 6 back in 2012. The company took 12 years to launch the web version of Apple Maps.

Apple Maps for the web lets users search for directions, details about places and curated Guides. Places information includes photos, hours, ratings, and reviews. Curated guides are currently available only for some countries. Maps include standard, hybrid, and satellite map views.

There will also be a new feature that provides 360-degree panoramic views. It will be available in the coming months.

To access Apple Maps on the web, visit beta.maps.apple.com. The website is available on Safari and Chrome on Mac and iPad. Windows users need to use Chrome and Edge browsers.

Developers can also use MapKit JS to integrate maps on the web into their applications so that users can get driving directions, information on places, and more.

Currently, Apple Maps for the web is in beta, so expect limited features and functionalities. Apple will improve it over time.
