Today, Amazon India introduced a new and cheaper Prime subscription plan: Prime Shopping Edition. This plan aims at consumers who just want to enjoy Free same-day and next-day shipping on Amazon. The annual Prime Shopping Edition membership costs just Rs. 399.
In regular Prime subscription, consumers get free same-day, one-day or two-day delivery. They also get access to Amazon Music, Prime early access deals, Family offers, Prime Video, and Prime gaming. In Prime Shopping Edition, consumers only get shopping benefits.
Prime Shopping Edition subscription is for those people who are regular Amazon shoppers but are not interested in Prime Music, Prime gaming, or Prime Video.

Amazon has also revised the pricing of Prime Lite membership. It was initially priced at Rs 999 for 12 months, but now it costs Rs. 799. But there’s also a change in benefits. Now it provides Prime video access to just 1 device in HD quality with ads. Previously, it allowed streaming on two devices.
The company also announced Prime Day 2024 sales that will take place on July 20th and 21st. There will be big offers from big brands across different categories. Customers will also get 10% savings on payment using ICICI Bank Credit/Debit cards, SBI Credit Cards, and EMI transactions on ICICI Bank Credit/Debit Cards and SBI Credit Cards.
