Lenovo India has confirmed that its handheld gaming console Legion Go will be launched in India next week. The launch is scheduled for June 27. Lenovo Legion Go is a Windows-based handheld gaming console that was announced last year at IFA 2023.

Legion Go features an 8.8-inch QHD+ display with 144Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. It packs AMD Z1 Extreme APU, 16GB LPDDR5X 7500MHz RAM, and up to 1TB of NVMe M.2 2242 PCIe Gen 4 SSD. It also has a microSD card slot to expand the storage up to 2TB.

For effective cooling, the company added Coldfront thermal technology with a quiet 79-blade fan. It also has hall effect joysticks for precise control and detachable TrueStrike controllers for FPS mode.

It has dual USB Type-C ports, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The device also packs a 49.2Wh battery with support for Super Rapid Charge fast charging.

Lenovo Legion Go starts at 799 Euros in Europe. We can expect it to be priced at around Rs. 80000 in India. Asus launched ROG Ally in India for Rs. 69,990. To compete well, Lenovo could go with an aggressive pricing strategy.
