Samsung has quietly released the Good Lock app on the Play Store. The app was previously only available on the Galaxy Store.

Google Lock is an interesting app for Galaxy devices that lets users various UI elements of the device. Users can customize the status bar, quick settings panel, navigation bar, lock screen, themes, notification shade, and more.

The Play Store listing says ‘Early Access.’ Samsung has also released the One Hand Operation+ module to the Play Store and could also bring all modules to the Play Store. Once the company is done with testing the app, it could remove the “Early Access” tag from the name.

The app is now available on the Play Store, but that doesn’t mean you can download it on any Android device. It supports only select Samsung smartphones. So, you still need a supported Samsung phone to use the app.

The Galaxy Lock app was first released back in 2016 in South Korea and has been rolled out in several other countries gradually. The app is now available in over 40 countries including India for Samsung Galaxy devices. With the Play Store, the company is now trying to make the app available in more countries.

Samsung UI’s most notable software features are available through the Good Lock app. So, the demand for the app among Samsung Galaxy users is high. So, making the app available on the Play Store is a good move.
