Infinix has introduced its latest smartphone Infinix GT 20 Pro in the GT series. This is a gaming phone and is the successor to GT 10 Pro. Now let’s have a look at the specifications and other features of the phone.

Infinix GT 20 Pro features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. The display panel gas 144Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The phone also has a Pixelworks X5 Turbo Gaming Display Chip that ensures ultra-smooth gameplay and high picture quality. The chip boosts frame rates from 60 FPS to up to 120 FPS by using Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation game frame rate interpolation.

It packs 3.1GHz Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 5G 4nm processor and Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. Infinix has added a better cooling system that includes 78% larger VC cooling, 68% larger PCM graphite sheet and over 66% thermal conductivity. Infinix promises to upscale Genshin Impact refresh rates to 120Hz through interpolation for better gaming experience. Inifnix promises up to 90 FPS while playing games like Free Fire, Call Of Duty (COD), and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG). The phone also has an Esports Mode especially made for esports scenarios.

The phone has 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM along with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It also supports up to 12GB of virtual RAM.

Infinix GT 20 Pro has cyber mecha design that has RBG mini-LED 8 color combos 4 lighting effects on the back. It displays lighting in sync with the rhythm of the music or game played. The lighting effects support three games: PUBG, MLBB, and Free Fire.

The phone runs Android 14 with XOS 14. Infinix promises 2 major Android upgrades and 3-year security patch updates. There is also bloatware for offering a clean experience.

The rear camera setup includes 108 megapixels Samsung HM6 sensor and OIS along with 50 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. For low-light photos, the phone has Quad LED flash. It can also record 4K videos. For selfies, the phone has 32 megapixels front-facing camera.

Infinix GT 20 Pro has a stereo dual speaker and sound by JBL. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster. Other connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC, and USB-C. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

Infinix GT 20 Pro comes in Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange, and Mecha Silver colors. It measures 164.26 x 75.43 x 8.15mm and weighs 194g.

Another interesting thing about the phone is that it is the official gaming phone for PUBG Mobile Super League. This gaming tournament will take place from May 15 to June 9 in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and from May 22 to June 16 in Central and South Asia (CSA).
