At MWC, Xiaomi introduced its Xiaomi 14 series. Now the company has launched the series in India. Xiaomi 14 starts at Rs. 69,999.
Xiaomi 14 features a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED LTPO display. The 12-bit display panel has up to 120Hz variant refresh rate and up to 3000 nits peak brightness. The panel also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
The phone packs a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and Adreno 750 GPU. The company also added IceLoop cooling system Vapor-liquid separation design along with one-way circulation structure. Xiaomi boasts this cooling system has up to 3 times the performance of traditional VC It has 12GB LPPDDR5x RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
The phone runs HyperOS based on Android 14. It will also get 4 generations of Android OS upgrades, as well as 5 years of security patches.
Xiaomi promises top class photography experience. The phone has 50 megapixels primary camera with 1/ 1.31-inch Light Fusion 900 sensor, Hyper OIS, and Leica Summilux lens. It also has 50 megapixels 115° Leica ultra-wide angle camera and a 50 megapixels 3.2X 10cm to Infinity Leica telephoto camera with OIS. The phone can record up to 8K videos. For series, Xiaomi offers 32 megapixels front camera that can record 4K 60 fps videos.
The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11 be, Bluetooth 5.4, Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS, GPS, NavIC, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1, and NFC.
Foe good audio experience, the phone has Stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos. It also has a 4-microphone array.
Xiaomi 14 packs a 4610mAh high-density silicon battery. It supports 90W wired charging that promises to charge the phone up to 100% in 31 minutes. The 50W wireless charging can charge the phone up to 100% charge in 46 minutes. The phone also supports 10W reverse wireless charging. So, you can also charge other devices that support wireless charging by putting them at the back of this device.
Xiaomi 14 measures 152.8×71.5×8.20mm and weighs 193g. It comes in Jade Green, Matte Black, and Classic White colors. The phone has IP68 dust and waterproof rating.
