Vivo has officially unveiled the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro smartphones in India. These devices feature a massive 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED display, promising an immersive visual experience. These phones also pack powerful camera setups, robust processors, and other noteworthy features. Vivo V30 starts at Rs. Rs. 33,999

The Vivo V30 sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED CURVED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has HDR10+ and up to 2800 nits peak brightness. The display has a high-performance Schott to ensure a stronger screen.
The phone packs a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and Adreno 720 GPU. Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC is a 4nm processor offering good performance. It comes in three models: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. The phone has LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The phone runs on Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14 which promises a smooth and up-to-date user experience, backed by two Android updates and three years of security updates.
Vivo V30 has a 50MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP portrait camera. On the front, it has a remarkable 50MP autofocus camera and dual LED flash at the front.
It has several connectivity options including 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS (L1 + L5), USB Type-C, and NFC. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
Vivo V30 comes in Andaman Blue edition which features a greenish-blue color. It also has a water ripple pattern. The Peacock Green version has a color-changing back that transforms into a deep blue hue in UV light. It is also offered in a classic Black shade made with Fluorite AG Glass. The phone measures 164.36 × 75.1 × 7.45mm and weighs 186g. It also has IP54 Dust and Splash resistance.

It comes in two models: 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. The phone uses LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. If I talk about the software, the phone runs Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14.
It has a 50 megapxiels proamru camera with OIS, 50 megapixels ultra-wide camera, and 50 megapixels 2x telephoto portrait camera. For selfies, the phone has a 50 megapxiels autofocus selfie camera.
Surprisingly, the phone has bottom-ported speakers. Not sure why the company didn’t provide a stereo speaker on a phone that costs more than Rs. 40000.
