HMD Global has just launched a new 4GB RAM variant of the Nokia G42 5G in India. This version also has 128GB storage. Nokia G42 5G 4GB RAM + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. Rs. 9999 and will be available exclusively on Amazon.in and HMD.com starting March 8th, 2024.
All other specs remain the same. Nokia G42 5G features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with 450 nits brightness and 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel also has Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone packs Snapdragon 480+ with Adreno 619 GPU.
Now the phone comes in three variants: 4GB RAM (2GB virtual RAM), 6GB RAM (5GB virtual RAM) with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM (8GB virtual RAM). The 4 and 6 GB RAM models have 128GB internal storage and the 8GB model has 256GB storage. Internal storage is also expandable up to 1TB.
Nokia G42 5G comes with Android 13 out of the box. HMD Global also promises 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates for the device.
The camera setup has 50 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels front camera. For selfies, there is a 8 megapixels front camera. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Nokia G42 5G has 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac , Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and USB Type-C connectivity options. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.
