Lava has launched its latest budget phone Lava O2 in India. This is an entry-level phone, but offers impressive specs. It comes with 6.5-inch HD+ 90Hz Display, UNISOC T616 processor, 8GB RAM, dual camera, 8 MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery.

Lava O2 features a 6.5-inch HD+ Punch Gole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone has a premium AG Glass Back Finish to look premium. It comes in three colors: majestic Purple, Imperial Green, and Royal Gold.

The phone is powered by octa-core UNISOC T616 processor. It has 8GB RAM and supports up to 8GB virtual RAM expansion. Lava O2 also has 128GB UFS 2.2 Storage. The phone runs Android 13 out of the box and Lava also promises 2 years of security updates.

Lava O2 features a dual camera with 50 megapixels primary camera and a secondary AI camera. For selfies, the phone has 8 megapixels front camera. The camera software has several camera modes including Beauty, HDR, Night, Portrait, AI, Pro, Slow motion, Burst, and more.

The phone supports the face unlock feature and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options are 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C.

Lava O2 packs a 5000mAh Li-Polymer Battery that promises up to 38 hours of talk time and up to 500 hours of standby time. It comes with an 18W charger in the box.

Lava O2 is priced at Rs. 8999, but it will be available at Rs 7,999 as part of an introductory offer. The phone go on sale from Lava e-store and Amazon starting March 27, 2024.
