TECNO has unveiled its AI-powered robotic dog called Dynamic 1 at MWC 2024. The company says that it will be “the perfect pet-like companion of the future.” The design of this robotic dog is inspired by the German Shepherd.

TECNO Dynamic 1 has a torque output of 45 Nm/kg. It can bow, shake hands, and effortlessly climb stairs.

It is powered by an 8-core ARM CPU that supports dynamic stability and rapid post-fall recovery. The dog can reach speeds of up to 8.3 miles per hour. It also has several cameras and sensors that allow it to avoid obstacles and navigate properly.

There’s 64 GB storage, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. TECNO has also developed a companion app to operate the dog using the app. It also supports remote control operation and voice commands.

The robotic dog packs a huge 15000 mAh battery that promises around 90 minutes of usage. There’s no port for charging the battery. It requires quick battery exchanges and then charging the battery using an external charger.

Dynamic 1 is still an early prototype and cannot compete with Boston Dynamics. It seems the company also has no plans to commercialize the product. It was made to tell the world that TECNO gas capabilities in advanced robotics and AI.
