At the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung teased a smart ring. Now at MWC 2024, the company has officially unveiled its upcoming wearable Galaxy Ring. This smart wearable is a fitness tracker that can track health and fitness data. The company also showcased the product for the first time.
The company confirmed that Galaxy Ring will be available in three colors: Platinum Silver, Ceramic Black, and Gold.
Samsung says that Galaxy Ring will support My Vitality Score. This score will be measured by using the data collected by Galaxy Ring. The device has several sensors to track heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, and other activity data to check your health and fitness. The data will be available in the Samsung Health app.
The company also said that Galaxy Ring will be available from 5 to 13 sizes. Samsung didn’t confirm hardware specs, pricing details, or availability details.
The first time when we heard about Samsung’s smart ring was back in 2016. It took Samsung more than 7 years to make its concept product a reality.
