TECNO, a popular smartphone maker, has given us a sneak peek into their upcoming POP 8. TECNO POP 8 will join TECNO’s POP series that aims at India’s youths.
Although we don’t have many details of the phone, TECNO shared a teaser video on social media with the hashtag #POP8UP. This confirmed the name of the upcoming smartphone without confirming the launch date.
TECNO POP 8 is the successor to TECNO POP 7 which has features like a 6.56-inch HD+ Dot Notch Display. 2GB+2GB RAM, and a big 5000mAh battery. TECNO promises that POP 8 will be even better with premium-level features.
The company launched the phone globally back in October. So, we know the specs of the global variant. The phone features a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Unisoc T606 processor, up to 8GB RAM, 13+AI rear camera, 8 MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery. It also features stereo dual speakers with DTS support.
The phone also features a Dynamic Port, a feature similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island. Dynamic Port will be used to show notifications, and more at the top of the display.
However, we are not sure if the company will launch the same phone in the country or if there will be some changes for the Indian market.
