Asus India has just confirmed that the company is set to launch its upcoming gaming smartphone ROG Phone 8 soon. The company has posted a teaser on Twitter.
We already know that Asus will launch ROG Phone 8 and 8 Pro. We can also expect ROG Phone 8 Ultimate. ROG Phone 8 and ROG 8 Pro recently received Bluetooth SIG certification. So we know that the phone will support Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. A listing on China’s 3C certification website confirmed 65W fast charging capability.
The phone was spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 16 GB of RAM, and Android 14. A variant of the phone was also spotted on Geekbench with 24GB RAM. This 24GB model could be ROG Phone 8 Ultimate. The phone scored 2,235 points on the single-core test and 7,098 points on the multi-core test.
Rumors suggest that ROG Phone 8 series will launch in Q1 2024 in different markets. Now that the company has officially posted the teaser, the possible launch could be in January 2024.
