We already know that OnePlus will launch OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R in India on January 23. Now the company has posted the images and a teaser video of the phone to reveal the design. OnePlus will also launch the smartphone in global markets such as North America and Europe for the first time in Q1, 2024. So, the OnePlus 12R will be the first OnePlus R series phone to be available outside China and India.
OnePlus 12R features a matte metal frame and will be available in two colors: Cool Blue and Iron Gray. The phone looks similar to the OnePlus 12. The Cool Blue color variant has a glossy finish and the Iron Gray variant offers a matte feel. The Alert slider is on the left side of the phone.
OnePlus 12R is said to be the rebranded OnePlus Ace 3 that is scheduled to be launched in China on January 4. If this is true, the phone could feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Soc, up to 16GB RAM, 50+8+2 MP rear camera, 16MP selfie camera, and 5500mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.
OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R will be officially launched at a launch event scheduled at 19:30 IST on January 23, 2024. The phone will be sold on Amazon.in, OnePlus.in, and select partner store.
