A few days back Meta Quest got Xbox Game Pass for gaming in VR. Now we just learned that Microsoft has also launched the basic Office suite on Meta Quest. Microsoft Office app has already been listed on the Meta Quest store for free.
The app supports all available Meta Quest headsets including the original Oculus Quest, Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 3. Users can access Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps directly from their VR headset.
The good thing is that apps run on the cloud. This cloud-based approach allows users to effortlessly multitask between presentations, spreadsheets, and documents by tapping on their icons on the menu bar. They can also run all three apps side by side for a truly immersive and efficient multitasking experience.
The integration also supports the pairing of Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Navigate to Settings, tap Devices, and the connect keyboard and mouse. So, you can effortlessly type on documents.
