In a groundbreaking move, Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) has officially made its debut on Meta Quest headsets. The announcement revealed that the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) app is now available for download on Meta Quest 2, 3, or Pro headsets for users with the latest Quest software update. It also requires an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership, a supported controller, and a high-speed internet connection to enjoy gaming on the VR headset.

Gamers get four different display sizes to choose from. So, they can either select an immersive VR environment to stream Xbox games or an Xbox-themed virtual space that also takes advantage of full-color passthrough.

Getting started with Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) on Meta Quest is a straightforward process. Users are guided through a simple tutorial to pair their supported controller with the Quest headset and log in to their Microsoft account. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is necessary. If you are not a subscriber, a trial membership is available for exploration.

It is interesting to note that Xbox controllers, PlayStation 4 controllers, and Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers are all compatible with the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) on Meta Quest. Support for PlayStation 5 controllers is also coming in the future.
