Infinix has launched its entry-level- smartphone Infinix Smart 8 HD in India. The phone features a 6.6-inch HD+ 90Hz display, Unisoc T606 SoC, 3GB RAM, dual Camera, 8 MP selfie camera, and 5000 mAh battery.
Infinix Smart 8 HD features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz Touch Sampling, and up to 500 nits of peak brightness. The phone runs XOS 13 based on Android 13 Go out of the box.
The display has a hole-punch for the selfie camera. It also features a Magic Ring that’s a pill-shaped animation around the notch. It will display charging animations, background calls, low-battery reminders, and other notifications similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island.
The phone has an octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC, 4GB RAM, and 64GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. It also supports virtual RAM expansion up to 6GB. The internal storage is further expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
The dual rear camera setup includes a 13 megapixels primary camera and an AI camera. It also has a ring flash to help in low light. For selfies, the phone has 8 megapixels front camera with front flash.
Infinix Smart 8 HD includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity. The phone also has fingerprints Ensor located on the side button and also supports Face Unlock. It feature DTS audio technology and promises superior sound experience.
The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery. It promises up to 39 hours of calling time and up to 50 hours of music playback time on a single charge.
Infinix Smart 8 HD featrues a premium design. It has a unique timber texture finish on the back. The phone comes in four different colors: Crystal Green, Shiny Gold, Timber Black, and Galaxy White. It measures 163.6×75.6×8.5 mm and weighs 184g.
Infinix Smart 8 HD has an MRP of Rs. 7999 but gets a special pricing of Rs. 6299. The company is also offering a 10% additional discount on Axis Bank cards.
