A few days back, Asus posted a teaser for its upcoming gaming smartphone ROG Phone 8. Now the company has confirmed the launch date of the phone in China. ROG Phone 8 will debut in China on January 16. The launch event will be held in China at 7:30 PM (GMT+8).

The announcement teaser doesn’t confirm anything about the phone, except the launch date and time.

We have only seen the back panel of the phone in teaser photos. The phone was recently spotted on Geekbench confirming 16GB RAM in the Vanilla model, up to 24GB RAM in the Ultimate model, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and an improved camera setup. The phone could also use the overclocked variant of the SoC for improved gaming performance.

Asus will also hold an event a day before CES 2024. On January 8, 2024, Asus will officially unveil ROG’s new lineup. Although the company didn’t confirm what product it could be, teasers suggest it could be a broader ROG lineup. A Windows 11 icon on the teaser photo suggests ROG laptops and PCs. Now that Asus is set to unveil the ROG Phone 8 series, we can also expect the ROG Phone 8 lineup during the pre-CES event.

ROG Phone series offers the best gaming smartphones with top-notch performance, gaming aesthetics, and cool accessories to improve the gaming experience.

Gamers are already excited about the game. Are you? Let’s discuss this in the comments.
