Samsung has launched its new entry-level smartphone Samsung Galaxy A05 in India. The phone features a 6.7-inch HD+ display, Helio G85 SoC, up to 6GB RAM, 50+2 MP rear camera, 8 MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery. The phone starts at Rs. 9999.
Samsung Galaxy A05 features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. There is a U-shaped notch for the selfie camera. The phone runs with Android 13 with OneUI Core out of the box. Samsung promises 4 years of security updates and 2 generation of OS upgrades.
It packs an Octa Core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor and ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. The phone is offered with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage or 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. Internal storage is further expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card.
The phone has a dual rear camera that includes 50 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels depth camera. For selfies, it has 8 megapixels front-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy A05 features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity options. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy A05 comes in Light Green, Silver, and Black colors. It measures 168.8 x 78.2 x 8.8mm and weighs 195g.
