POCO India launched Poco M6 Pro 5G in India back in May this year. The phone was launched in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB storage variants. POCO added a 4GB + 128GB variant in September. Today, the company has added another variant that features 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The new 8GB + 256GB variant of the Poco M6 Pro 5G costs Rs. 14999 and will be available starting November 29 from Flipkart. Flipkart is also offering an instant discount of Rs. 2,000 when using HDFC or ICICI Bank credit cards dropping the effective price to Rs. 12999.
Poco M6 Pro 5G featrues a 6.79-inch full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display also has a peak brightness of 550 bits and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. There is also Gorilla Glass 3 protection to protect the display from scratches.
The phone packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Poco M6 Pro 5G runs Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.
The smartphone has a 50 megapixels AI-backed primary camera and 2 megapixels depth camera. It also has 8 megapixels selfie camera located in the punch-hole at the top-center part of the display.
Connectivity options include 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. POCO M6 Pro 5G also has a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
