Xiaomi has launched the new 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of its existing Redmi A2 smartphone in India. The new variant is priced at Rs. 8499. There is no change in other specifications.

Redmi A2 was launched in India back in May. To remind you, the phone has a 6.52-inch display with 1600×720 pixels resolution. It packs a MediaTek Helio G36 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone was initially launched in three variants: 2GB + 32GB, 3GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 64GB. Now we have a 4GB + 128GB variant.

There is an 8 megapixels rear camera and a 5 megapixels front camera for selfies.

There is no fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, and a Micro USB port/ Redmi A2 also packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.

The variant is now available on Amazon, MI.com, and Xiaomi retail partners.
