Xiaomi just launched its latest budget smartphones Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ in its Redmi A2 series in India. These phones run Android 13 Go Edition. Both phones feature a 6.52-inch HD+ display, Helio G36 12nm processor, up to 4GB RAM, up to 64GB internal storage, and a 5000mAh battery.

Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ feature the same 6.52-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz touch sampling rate and 400 nits brightness. These phones also pack a 2.2 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G36 12nm processor and IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Redmi A2 comes in 2GB + 32GB, 3GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 64GB models. Redmi A2+ comes in a single 4GB + 64GB model.

The camera setup is also the same. Both phones feature an 8 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels front camera.

Redmi A2 lacks a fingerprint sensor, but Redmi A2+ has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Both phones feature Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, and a Micro USB port. These phones also pack a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.

Redmi A2+ price in India

  • Redmi A2 4GB + 64GB: Rs. 8,499

These phones will be available from Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi home stores starting from May 23rd. Redmi A2’s 2GB + 64GB model will be available later.
